Additive Manufacturing

New dimension in production

The additive manufacturing - selective melting of powder material (laser beam melting), also known as 3D printing, allows individual and flexible implementation of parts with entirely new forms and functionalities, for example workpieces with cavities or bionic structures, in a single production step.

This method allows the following advantages:

  • Complex geometries
  • Weight reduction
  • individual production
  • Low storage costs or small batch sizes
  • Shorter innovation cycles

Through our material competence for powder metallurgy together with our research competence center for additive manufacturing, we combine our core competence in powder production with the most modern possibilities of component production.
